Hello and welcome back to Soul Growth.
Speaker A: This is the first episode of: Speaker A:So firstly, I want to take a moment to say Happy New Year.
Speaker A:Yes, I'm fully aware that it is February, and as I shared, it's the first episode this year.
Speaker A: to you, or should I say happy: Speaker A:So whether you've been going full steam ahead this new calendar year or going slow, you do you like.
Speaker A:There is no right and wrong.
Speaker A:If you've been around here for a while, you already know that I don't subscribe to the whole new year hype.
Speaker A:The noise and the.
Speaker A:The pressure and the.
Speaker A:The speed of it all.
Speaker A:I'm think feeling like you need to do everything and get everything done like that.
Speaker A:That's just not me.
Speaker A:I unsubscribed from that years ago.
Speaker A:The past couple of years, I've been in hibernation mode in January and just going very, very slow.
Speaker A:This year, I've still been in hibernation mode, but it's what I've called active hibernation mode.
Speaker A:Because behind the scenes there has been lots of shifts, lots of changes, lots of things going on.
Speaker A:So it's been more active than they're not.
Speaker A:And last month was also my birthday and it was the first year in a couple of years actually that I've been out, that I went out.
Speaker A:If you're on Instagram with me, you can go check out my reel.
Speaker A:And if you were already on my stories, then lucky you because you got to see all of the behind the scenes shenanigans.
Speaker A:So, yeah, it's been a busy six weeks or so.
Speaker A:So in some ways it's been full steam ahead for me.
Speaker A:But I've also embraced going slow as well.
Speaker A:And really and truly, again, there is no right or wrong.
Speaker A:It's all about you listening to your inner voice move when it says move, pause when it says pause, and listening to your body and ultimately trusting it, because listening to it is only one part of it.
Speaker A:So I believe that we have multiple opportunities to celebrate New Year throughout the calendar year.
Speaker A:So there is the Gregorian calendar of January 1st.
Speaker A:That is one opportunity to celebrate New Year.
Speaker A:There is the Chinese New Year.
Speaker A:That is in February.
Speaker A:There is what I call nature's New Year, which is in March, when spring starts to spring, it starts to awaken and everything comes back to life.
Speaker A:For me, that is when I feel the year has really started.
Speaker A:I also believe that your birthday is an opportunity to celebrate a new Year, that is a fresh start.
Speaker A:That is your own personal new year.
Speaker A:And if you go even deeper, there's a Mayan calendar, New Year, I think that's in August or something.
Speaker A:There's also the Lunar New Year.
Speaker A:So Lunar New Year is the first new moon of the year.
Speaker A:So that's.
Speaker A: So in: Speaker A:So I share all of that with you to say you get to celebrate New Year and start over and start fresh and have new beginnings whenever it feels right for you.
Speaker A:And the way that you know when it's right for you is you'll feel this go time.
Speaker A:Like your soul will wake up, it will kick you up the ass, and you will feel like, I've got to go.
Speaker A:Like, it is time, it is time to move.
Speaker A:And that is when you get to go.
Speaker A:So wherever you're at with your new year, I know that you've been thinking about new beginnings and you've probably set some intentions.
Speaker A:Whether they're just in your head right now, or you've written them down or made a vision board or done whatever it is that you feel is the right thing for you to do to set those intentions, I'm sure that you have set some.
Speaker A:And now it's time for a dose of real talk, served with a side of love.
Speaker A: st and you've declared that: Speaker A:The calendar, the clock, it's not a magic wand.
Speaker A: ve heard or read or seen that: Speaker A:Nine years are all about endings and closure and things that don't serve you anymore, being removed from your life.
Speaker A:And yes, all of that is true.
Speaker A:But it doesn't mean that just because it's a nine year that things will automatically fall into your lap.
Speaker A: Just as just because it's: Speaker A:Here's why.
Speaker A:You have got to do the work, the real work, not just listen to podcasts or watch TikTok videos and read some books.
Speaker A:You know, if it was that easy, how many of us would already have the things that we want, that we desire, Even the things that, to an extent, we need.
Speaker A:Foreign.
Speaker A:Let's be honest, probably the things that you're going for in this new year are things that you've aimed for last year or the year before that or the year before that.
Speaker A:And if you're not getting what you want out of your life right now, it's not because you don't deserve it.
Speaker A:It's not because you're a bad person.
Speaker A:It's not because of any other negative reason that your mind is fabricating, but there is a reason for it.
Speaker A:And that reason is connected to your inner game.
Speaker A:Your thoughts, your patterns of behavior, your energy, and everything else that makes up 80% of your life.
Speaker A:But we haven't been taught this stuff.
Speaker A:We've been taught to focus on the how, the hustle, the strategy, the thing.
Speaker A:And all of that is only 20% of how you operate and show up in life, right?
Speaker A:So the strategy, the how, the thing is not what is keeping you stuck.
Speaker A:Because all of that is the result and not actually the reason.
Speaker A:So if you're ready for real change in your life, then it's time to seriously work on your inner game.
Speaker A:To look at the thoughts and the beliefs that are keeping you stuck.
Speaker A:To look at the trauma that you're carrying, the baggage of the past, to look at how your nervous system is wired, what you're holding in your body from your past that you think you've let go or you believe that it does, that thing doesn't bother you, or you've stuffed it down far, far down and locked it away and thrown away the key, trust.
Speaker A:And believe me when I say that stuff is still impacting your life today, whether or not you realize it.
Speaker A:Every memory, every belief, every experience of your life, negative, positive, and everything in between, it lives in your body.
Speaker A:It lives in your subconscious mind.
Speaker A:And all of that stuff goes out as like a homing signal.
Speaker A:And it attracts back into your life the things that you experience, how you show up.
Speaker A:It influences why you do stuff, why you don't do stuff.
Speaker A:And you may have passed it off as, oh, well, that's the way I've always been.
Speaker A:Or, oh, yeah, my mum was like that too, or my nan was like that too, or my nan, and my mum was like that, or my dad or my granddad, whoever.
Speaker A:It's irrelevant who it is.
Speaker A:The point is that it's a part of you.
Speaker A:It's a part of your programming, your conditioning, and it's what's running your life.
Speaker A:And until you address that programming, that conditioning, those beliefs, those things that are at the root of your patterns of behavior, nothing will change for You.
Speaker A: trong your intentions are for: Speaker A:You know, all of those things being the strategy, it doesn't matter.
Speaker A:You need to get to the root cause.
Speaker A:You need to.
Speaker A:You need to get really real and honest with yourself.
Speaker A:Because most times we actually know what's going on and we hide behind these stories and these excuses.
Speaker A:And it's time for you to get really real.
Speaker A:Ask yourself if the things that you say that you want in your life are things that you truly want to have in your life.
Speaker A:And if they are, then you need to be looking at what is in the way of that.
Speaker A:And that's not comfortable, may not be things that you want to look at, may not be things that you want to admit.
Speaker A:But until you get real with yourself and truthful and deep, it doesn't matter how many podcasts you listen to, how good the podcast is.
Speaker A:It doesn't matter whether the TikTok video is talking about ancient wisdom and telling you something that the ancient Egyptians used to do.
Speaker A:You need to get intimate with yourself, how you think, what you truly believe, and you need to get the fuck out your own way.
Speaker A:When you start to work with yourself on this mental level, on this spiritual level, on this emotional level, that's when things start to shift because those are the things that create your outer game results.
Speaker A:So your inner game, what goes on inside of you and your body and your energy and your mind goes out like that homing beacon and it attracts the things back in your life.
Speaker A:The outer game results.
Speaker A:There are multiple ways to deal with healing your inner world.
Speaker A:I've touched on different ways of doing stuff in previous episodes.
Speaker A:I'll continue to share stuff with you as I continue on my own soul growth journey.
Speaker A:And ultimately, there are lots of ways of doing stuff and there isn't a one size fits all.
Speaker A:Everything works.
Speaker A:Everything doesn't work for everyone.
Speaker A:But this episode isn't about that.
Speaker A:I've shared what I've shared with you because it is really important to, to really get a real handle on what's going on inside of you because that is what will change your life and that's what we're here to do.
Speaker A:And today's episode is really about becoming.
Speaker A:It's about tapping into the version of you that is already where you want to be.
Speaker A:In your life, you right now may believe that it's just you in this one single life.
Speaker A:And you have a spirit team, and there's the divine, the source, spirit, creator, whatever label you want to put on it, and that's it.
Speaker A:And that is true.
Speaker A:And there are multiple versions of reality that all exist all at once.
Speaker A:I'm not going to get too deep into that, because when I do it with my head.
Speaker A:But if you just imagine.
Speaker A:Imagine a highway with multiple lanes.
Speaker A:You are occupying one lane, but there are alternate versions of you that exist in other lanes.
Speaker A:And some of those alternate versions of you are living the life that you're dreaming of.
Speaker A:I think I shared with this with you in a previous episode, but someone once described it to me like, the desires that you have inside of you are like the version of you that already has them whispering and calling back to you, calling you like a magnet home to those desires.
Speaker A:And it just really, like, it really lit me up.
Speaker A:I was like, I love that way of putting it.
Speaker A:So however you look at it, whether you want to look at it as multiple lanes on a highway or multiple versions of you, the point is what you want exists.
Speaker A:It's not an accident that you desire to have the relationship that you desire to have or to have your career looking and feeling the ways that you want them to look and feel.
Speaker A:All of that is possible.
Speaker A:All of that exists for you.
Speaker A:And a really powerful way beyond doing all of the healing work.
Speaker A:Because this isn't a bypassing hack.
Speaker A:This is just one thing that works, is about tapping into the version of you that already exists, that already has the things that you want.
Speaker A:And you start to ask yourself some questions around that version of you.
Speaker A:So you're gonna ask and start to contemplate these questions to help you tap into and access this part of you to help you get yourself and your life on the same page, AKA in alignment with the life that you truly want.
Speaker A:So some simple basic questions are like, who are they?
Speaker A:You can name them.
Speaker A:It's kind of like having an alter ego, I guess, you know, paint the picture of them.
Speaker A:How do they dress?
Speaker A:Where do they live?
Speaker A:What kind of house do they live in?
Speaker A:And to put this into perspective, like, look around your current living situation.
Speaker A:Is your current home a reflection of that version of you?
Speaker A:Because it's not about you moving into the next level house.
Speaker A:It's about you bringing your current home, as an example, into reality, into alignment with that version of you.
Speaker A:And if you find yourself saying, you know what?
Speaker A:This part of my home doesn't really look and feel like that next level version of me.
Speaker A:What can you do to shift that right now?
Speaker A:What can you do to move it into the same frequency, the same vibration?
Speaker A:This isn't about moving unless that's what feels right for you.
Speaker A:This isn't about spending a shitload of money on stuff that you can't really afford.
Speaker A:This is about making small incremental shifts and changes to attune yourself to that version of you.
Speaker A:So that next level version of you, if your clothes aren't the one you know well, how do they dress?
Speaker A:Where do they shop, what food do they buy?
Speaker A:Do they eat healthy?
Speaker A:Do they eat the junk food?
Speaker A:And if eating junk food is a default of yours, as you start to tap into this version of you, you're going to start to look at your decisions and your choices of eating that junk food on a regular basis differently because it's not in alignment with and that's going to start to feel uncomfortable for you because the first step to change is awareness.
Speaker A:So you become aware that it's a problem and it's not in alignment and then you make the change.
Speaker A:Ask yourself, what must they have in their life?
Speaker A:Like what are their non negotiables?
Speaker A:What are the things that they do for themselves that they must have in their life?
Speaker A:And this could be attributes and feelings, like could be peace.
Speaker A:It could be what must they have in their life?
Speaker A:Respect.
Speaker A:It could be, I'm not negotiating on that brand of tea that I love.
Speaker A:This is about the, the things that you perceive to be small things and the big things.
Speaker A:It's about all of it and bringing it all into alignment.
Speaker A:But it can be starting with something as small as what brand of tea you drink.
Speaker A:Talking of tea, to share an example.
Speaker A:Years ago, when I first started drinking green tea, it was an aspiration of mine to be drinking a premium tea brand.
Speaker A:Back in the days that was not a part of my budget.
Speaker A:So I started off with probably supermarket brand green tea.
Speaker A:But one incremental shift that I made over time was shifting from the supermarket brand of green tea to the premium brand of green tea.
Speaker A:And over time that became my new normal.
Speaker A:And then that trickled out into other things and bigger things, such as clothing, such as my home, such as where you eat when you go out to, to a restaurant where you spend your time, the kind of environments you spend your time in.
Speaker A:Ask yourself, what must they not have in their life?
Speaker A:Example, if you're in a relationship right now and you're disrespected on a Regular daily basis.
Speaker A:But you know that next level version of you does not tolerate disrespect or then it's looking at ways that you can remove that kind of behavior from you or from your life rather.
Speaker A:And that is not in changing the other person.
Speaker A:A big mistake that people make is trying to fix the person, the thing outside of themselves.
Speaker A:But it's not about that.
Speaker A:It's really about you raising the bar on your level of self love and self respect for yourself, how you carry yourself, the beacon that you're putting out, the vibration that you're putting out, and then shifting what you attract back into your life.
Speaker A:What do they believe to be true about themselves?
Speaker A:Again, does that next level version of you that has everything that you dream of having, do they talk to themselves internally like a piece of.
Speaker A:If the answer is no, and you talk to yourself like a piece of on a regular basis, saying things like when you look in the mirror, you know, oh, I'm so fat, I'm so ugly, oh, I can't stand me, you need to start shifting that shit because just in general, that kind of behavior, that kind of thinking, that kind of self talk is not healthy and it's repelling a lot of shit from you, including that next level dream life.
Speaker A:What do they have in their life?
Speaker A:Sorry, what do they do in their life that you're not currently doing?
Speaker A:If this next level version of you is someone who takes care of their body and works out 3, 4, however many times a week, and you're currently not doing that, and you feel shit about your body, then again, it's time to look at starting to make some incremental shifts into more aligning with the version of you that does work out.
Speaker A:Doesn't mean you've got to start off doing three, four workouts a week.
Speaker A:It could mean that you move your body for five minutes every morning, or you go for a walk for 20 minutes for twice a week, just what are the next tangible, doable steps for you without setting off your protection parts that are like, no, no, no, this is not safe, we need to stay where we are.
Speaker A:Remember how I've spoken to you about those protective parts and how your human brain just wants to keep you safe, what it perceives to be safe, whether it's real safety or not, and how it wants to keep you in familiar circumstances and patterns.
Speaker A:We don't want to set that off.
Speaker A:So we start off taking small steps, baby steps, and we recondition ourselves that it is safe to do these things.
Speaker A:What kind of relationships do they have in their life.
Speaker A:Do they have relationships that are sources of stress and drama, or do they have relationships that are sources of love and joy and fun?
Speaker A:And then you look at, well, if that version of me has all of these healthy, fulfilling relationships, and actually, right now, my friendship circle is a bit toxic.
Speaker A:It's full of drama.
Speaker A:Well, you might want to not spend as much time around them.
Speaker A:You might want to look at where.
Speaker A:Where can I find the kind of people that I want to hang out with?
Speaker A:So just start considering these kind of questions and think about how that version of you shows up in life and start aligning yourself with that version bit by bit, step by step, because it all adds up.
Speaker A:Quantum leaps happen when we're able to embody the next level version.
Speaker A:That's when.
Speaker A:When you're acting in alignment with that version of you.
Speaker A:When you move into that frequency, into that vibration, that's when everything you desire starts to come to you.
Speaker A:Because you're on the same frequency.
Speaker A:You're on the same page.
Speaker A:You're in the same light.
Speaker A:Remember that highway?
Speaker A:You're in the same lane.
Speaker A:So it can come to you if you're in separate lanes.
Speaker A:Imagine these lanes have, like, little barriers in between.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The thing that you want can't come to you because there's a barrier in the way.
Speaker A:So it's about you getting into the same lane on the same page.
Speaker A:This is about you building the habits and the routines and the mindset of the man or the woman that you want to become.
Speaker A:And just to add a caveat here, this is not about forcing.
Speaker A:Does it take discipline?
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:Is it about forcing?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:Like, let's be real.
Speaker A:You've probably tried to force things in the past.
Speaker A:I know I have.
Speaker A:And how did that work out for you?
Speaker A:I don't need to use my psychic skills tonight.
Speaker A:The answer is not very well.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So when you start to contemplate these kind of questions and ask yourself how this next level version of you shows up in life, you start to tap into the identity of who you want to be.
Speaker A:And then you get to look at how you can embody more of this energy into your life right here, right now.
Speaker A:Not waiting for.
Speaker A:Not waiting for the relationship to come along, not waiting for your kids to be a certain age, not waiting until you found your dream home or whatever.
Speaker A:It's about how can you bring these things into your life now?
Speaker A:Your identity, who you choose to be, who you choose to become impacts every single area of your life.
Speaker A:Imagine that you are like the stone that gets Thrown into a pond.
Speaker A:And the ripple effects of that, how far and wide they go, your identity, how you see yourself internally, that goes out.
Speaker A:And it impacts your relationships, your finances, your career, your relationships, romantic and otherwise.
Speaker A:It impacts how you live, it impacts how you eat, how you show up in life.
Speaker A:All of the things is impacted by your identity.
Speaker A:And when you shift your identity, as I've said, it impacts every area of your life.
Speaker A:It will start to shift every area of your life, raise every area of your life up.
Speaker A:Because you're operating from the identity of somebody who is living their best life, really.
Speaker A:And I mean that not in a, in a surface level way.
Speaker A:I mean living their best life inside, outside, you know, how they feel, how they look, how they show up in life, how happy they are, how healed they are, all of the things.
Speaker A:And it will shift what shows up for you in your life.
Speaker A:It helps you to approach the, the things that you perceive to be problems in your life from a different vantage point.
Speaker A:And that's going to equal a different outcome.
Speaker A:You know, when you're up against it in a, in a challenging situation, a really powerful question to ask yourself is how would he or she, how would this alter ego, this other version of me, how would they deal with this situation?
Speaker A:Try it.
Speaker A:You'll find that your, your attitude and how you relate to that situation is very, very different.
Speaker A:And just to say, tapping into this next level version of yourself is not about being fake.
Speaker A:We don't do fake.
Speaker A:Like that is such an old paradigm.
Speaker A:It was never a great one in the first place.
Speaker A:It feels even more icky in this day and age as we continue to like shift and evolve as a collective and decision and as it, and as individuals.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:I got there at the end.
Speaker A:It's not about being fake.
Speaker A:It's about embodying the like the 10x version of you.
Speaker A:Like the best version of you that you can be.
Speaker A:Ultimately, I know all of this works.
Speaker A:I've seen it work for many people.
Speaker A:I know it works for myself.
Speaker A:It's something that I still use.
Speaker A:Ultimately, the way for you to see if it works for you is to try it and just see how things shift for you.
Speaker A:Just see how you show up to life differently, whether it's from how you, how you go to bed at night, you know, how you dress when you go to bed at night.
Speaker A:Are you in some janky old T shirt or are you in some really nice pajamas that make you feel sexy as.
Speaker A:Even though you're only going to be sleeping like it's Going to shift everything.
Speaker A:How you eat, how you show up in your business, how you show up in your career, how you deal with your money, how you spend your money, where you spend your time, who you spend your time with, how you allow other people to treat you, how you treat other people, how you deal with your children, your family, how you allow them to interact with you.
Speaker A:You know, what you're available for and what you're not available for.
Speaker A: ou want to be, to really make: Speaker A:Because as I started out by sharing, the change of the year from 24 to 25 or whatever year to whatever year is not going to change your life in and of itself.
Speaker A:It's about who you choose to become, how you choose to show up in life, that next level version of you.
Speaker A:Another great question is, how do they invest in themselves?
Speaker A:What do they invest in?
Speaker A:How do they invest their time?
Speaker A:How do they invest their money?
Speaker A:And I don't just mean investing money in traditional terms of investing in stocks and shares and property, gold, silver, veblen, goods, whatever.
Speaker A:I mean how they invest into themselves.
Speaker A:Because the old school attitude is, I can do everything by myself.
Speaker A:Why am I going to pay this person to work with me?
Speaker A:Or why am I going to pay to do this program?
Speaker A:Or why am I going to pay to go here and do this healing, do this thing?
Speaker A:And actually, when you start to tap into that next level version of you and ask yourself those same questions, you'll find yourself with very different answers.
Speaker A:Because that next level version of you knows what it really takes for you to get from where you are now to where you want to be.
Speaker A:And they know that they can't do it alone, that they didn't do it alone, that they invest in themselves, in their healing, in their journey, in being around the best coaches and mentors, working with the best coaches and mentors and healers.
Speaker A:And you deserve that too.
Speaker A:Don't need to wait to get to that next level version.
Speaker A: ght here, right now, and make: Speaker A:I want that for you.
Speaker A:I hope that you truly want it for yourself.
Speaker A:And you're not just giving it lip service, but at the end of the day, only you get to make that choice.
Speaker A:And where you are now is on you.
Speaker A:Where you are this time next year, that is also on you.
Speaker A:And you get to choose.
